About Women In Power

About Women In Power

Women In Power (WIP) is a membership platform for women in Nigeria and the diaspora who want to lead in their communities and grow as individuals.

Our Mission

WIP exists so no woman faces leadership alone. We provide civic education, structured community, and the peer accountability to build real influence — from village to national stage.

What We Are (and Are Not)

WIP is a civic and community education platform. We are not a political party and we are not affiliated with any partisan organization. Our work is about leadership development, community building, and civic participation — open to women of all political backgrounds.

Our Structure

WIP operates through a hierarchical chapter system: national, regional, state, local government, and village levels. Every member belongs to a chapter. Every chapter has accountable leaders. This structure is what makes WIP different from a network — we move women into real roles of service.

Membership

We offer three membership tiers, starting from ₦1,000 per month. Every tier includes access to civic education resources, community events, and the member directory. Higher tiers unlock leadership training, mentorship, and access to national-level programming.

The Diaspora

You don't have to be in Nigeria to belong to WIP. Our diaspora members stay connected to their communities at home, contribute to chapter work remotely, and join national events online.
